Looking at that site, I'm not seeing any actual mappings of CVEs to AMI ID. I'm not sure how this will help us.

You would need to trace through to the release notes such as https://aws.amazon.com/amazon-linux-ami/2018.03-release-notes/ and correlate which AMI's have resolved which CVE's. That could be stored in a lookup table and then do the matching.
