There is a difference of 0.001 second (2.52 vs 2.521). Can you explain how you compute the time for each event? Maybe your computation for the frame associated with the left foot strike is not an integer value but a real and the result is something like 253.00001. In this case, you need to take only the integer part of the result (with a method like floor

So why the problem comes from OpenMA? In the C3D EVENT:TIMES parameters, the times are set to 2.52 and 2.521. The problem might come from the program that generates the event then.

The time stored in the C3D file for your Left Foot Strike is 2.521. This means the method used to generate it found that the frame is 252.1. This might be possible if the force plate was used for this event (the sample frequency is 100Hz). In any case, this is not related to OpenMA.
