'dict object' has no attribute 'iteritems' and rbenv error on fresh install attempt about configuration HOT 2 CLOSED

So iteritems() is a Python2 -> Python3 issue. Changed that to items(), seems to continue appropriately. However, I am still getting the issue with:

I guess I will answer this myself, as this has gotten no response. It 100% had to do with which version of Ansible and Python you are running. I suggest running this bootstrap script, however it won't work if you have Ansible and python already at higher versions. I had to create a separate linux workstation just to run this. Hopefully this is fixed in the near future, because that was a complete waste of time
