Were you thinking zoom discussion or chat here? Maybe a doodle poll to lock down a time for a planning discussion?

The monthly meeting is coming up. But if the distribution maintainers expect the synchronous part of this discussion to take longer than 20 minutes or so, it's probably best to schedule a distribution-specific meeting for this.

I don't think it would more than 20min, but July 4th (independence day) is not a good day for an afternoon meeting in the States :)

Want to send a dev@ mail to reschedule?

@vbatts heads up on the July 4 conflict for the next monthly oci meeting. Suggest reschedule to the week after. And add this topic for discussion :-)

I'm working on a reference implementation of the OCI Distribution Spec. I made an OpenAPI spec for it so I can really hammer out the spec before I start writing code. Hopefully, the project will help getting the ball rolling on putting out an RC.

I've made a few experimental changes to the spec that I would love to get feedback on. The openapi spec is written in Jsonnet to make it easier to hack on with the hopes that it would eventually be maintained by the OCI for client/server code generation and whatnot.

To view the spec pull up the Swagger Editor, go to File -> Import URL and paste in the following link:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/atlaskerr/stori/master/spec/openapi.json

If at all possible, I'd like to set up a meeting with the distribution-spec team in December to talk about the roadmap for the spec in general.
