We prototyped the port of the Opc.Ua.ConfigurationTool to .Net Standard. While we were able to get it compiling with minimal changes to the core stack, there are many COM/Windows dependencies in the tool (NT user accounts, cert generation, OPC Classic COM calls) which will only ever work on Windows, which goes against the cross-platform requirements of .Net Standard. We therefore decided NOT to proceed with the check-in of our ported tool but to direct folks to the old .Net stack where the tool is available today: https://github.com/OPCFoundation/UA-.NET/tree/master/ConfigurationTool
