Ah that's annoying and a pretty simple fix. A great report though, thank you very much!
It should be fixed on develop but it'll still throw if the file doesn't exist.. any thoughts on solving that one? It needs to still be valid config data and a nil
port won't be great 🤔

Maybe allowing nil
ports is the only way... but it's a weird reason to allow it.
Edit: Current thinking is maybe default #slurp-edn
result to nil
then when it tries to connect it'll log a warning that the port was nil
.

I went with that edit, so this is in develop. If the slurp fails it returns a nil which is understood further along in Conjure as something that should be skipped. It'll tell you that it hit a nil port in the log.
