Could be related to Zookeeper version: apparently v3.4.7+ is required, but POM's of the release only include v3.4.6 (?)

Looks like this might rather be related to the types: there don't appear to be any events generated for Glossary entities (AtlasGlossary, AtlasGlossaryCategory, AtlasGlossaryTerm), but other entities appear to generate events.

Confirmed that this is expected behaviour for Atlas __internal entities -- JIRA raised to see if we could use a configuration option to still notify for these entities as well (see https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ATLAS-3312)
