I inserted this at line 74 in the uncompressed Core as a workaround for the 
three
most common HTML entity issues:

code = code.replace(/</g,'<');
code = code.replace(/>/g,'>');
code = code.replace(/&/g,'&');

Still not widely tested and so simple I probably missed something obvious.
