Hey @eochieng-lab, this is intentional.
URNs are appended to the existing one we do not replace/remove the existing one in bulk
from rapidpro.

Thanks for this @norkans7. So this means that there is no option for replacing contact fields or URNs in bulk? I have a use case where we have over 10000 contacts and we would like to update some details using the Import contacts feature. This means that this would not work?

You can update contact fields and even clear them by using -- however urns are append only on contacts imports
