Latest OS X app won't launch about multiminer HOT 11 CLOSED

Please run the following command from Terminal.app and let me know the output (you may need to adjust the path for where you have MultiMiner.app):

mono ~/Desktop/MultiMiner.app/Contents/Resources/MultiMiner.Win.exe

Nothing happened. I installed Mono MRE 3.2.4. Should I install Mono MDK?

There's no output, the cursor hangs on the next line. I have to Control+C
to return to the prompt.

In my experience it takes a long time to load the first Mono application. It must first load the X Window system (provided by Xqartz) and the Mono runtime. If it hasn't loaded after 10-15 minutes there may be an issue beyond that but there should be some sort of output or response. You shouldn't need the MDK, just the MRE.

Ok, it came up. I was able to click on Settings, etc. It seems that all clicks are being registered as right-clicks. I can't close the "Add Coin" window via the red button or the Save/Cancel buttons. When I click in the empty space in the main window, the right-click context menu appears.

There are absolutely quirks with MultiMiner under OS X. This is due to using WinForms for the UI under Mono on OS X. However everything should work. If not please do me a favor and make a brief recording of the functions that don't work using something like Jing (free and easy):

and I'll try to address them. Some items are bugs in Mono that I cannot resolve. I do plan on writing a UI for MultiMiner in Qt for OS X and Linux in the future.

So I think what you are seeing is "normal", though I will admit it's not obvious on Mono on OS X.

It's not letting you close that screen because you have nothing typed into the Username field, which is required. I'll see if it's something I can handle better in the future.
