Any resolution for this? I just ran into the same issue...

This is due to a confusion in the interface between OAuth2 and Faraday.

Specifically, the request method of OAuth2::Client is passing a hash of request parameters to the run_request method of Faraday::Connection. However, Faraday::Connection#run_request is expecting not a hash, but a request body in the form of a query string.

A simple solution is to use pwnall's fork of fbgraph, which bypasses the whole Typhoeus/Faraday stack. Just put this in your Gemfile:

'fbgraph', :git => 'git://github.com/pwnall/fbgraph.git'
