@clopez, thanks for the news. Anybody interested in implementing the Spice protocol? Recently the tight encoding for VNC was implemented and proved that the zlib/deflate part tight was very fast (at least on recent Chrome and Firefox). This was one of my main concerns with Spice which contains compressed parts of the message. But I think that is not an issue.

It certainly would be useful for Ganeti Web Manager. I believe there was a commit in Ganeti 2.5 that switched KVM virtual machines to use SPICE where available.
