It means that I cannot tell you the exact conditions so that you can recreate the 280 tabs that I have open, perform a search and have it come up with the invalid results previously described. It could be the number of tabs open, it could be the content in the files, it could be things that I have not thought of.

I just did a little experiment. I took the content from "new 3" and copied it into a new tab. I repeated the search but this time it did not think that the term "html" was in "new 3. However, I then deleted that new tab and "new 3" is back in the search results.

Are you sure you're not looking at the search results from a previous search? Because I still can't replicate your issue.

For example, the search results for Programming_Languages_Extensions.json from a previous search will show up in my search result history even if that file isn't currently open.

You can right-click on the search results window and select Purge for every search to hide previous searches if that's an issue.
