Document what to put in `min_native_interface` about cordova-hot-code-push HOT 6 CLOSED

min_native_interface should be a build/code version, not a version of the app, that displayed to users on the App Store / Google Play. It should be a number.

For iOS it can be found in project preferences in General -> Build.
For Android it is a versionCode preference from the AndroidManifest.xml.

Under General -> Build I don't have an integer in the text box

For android it is sensibly set to android:versionCode="1"

In the Build you can use any value. So you can change it to the number. Since android uses numbers, and iOS can accept any value - to unify it Build should also be a number.

@nikDemyankov it is auto-generated from my config.xml by cordova and I don't want to go editing it in my project every time I do a build. Can you just deal with it being a string and compare it semantically?

You can specify them in config.xml like so:
