All tasks have been completed with the exception of protected branches and user permissions.
I will apply these exceptions when the real migration is made.
In addition to the actions provided above, I also renamed all author names and emails to match their Github information and created a "main" branch that is the latest copy of the dev branch,

The first 5 bullet points look great.
I've reviewed all my feature branches and they all appear to have to most current history. Ppl should follow-up by inspecting their own feature branches.
The 6th bullet (renaming authors/emails) looks good but unfortunately some of the squashed commits still appear. Run git log --branches --remotes --tags --graph --decorate | grep -n <pattern>
with the patterns nwcal
and fernandoa.eng
to see where these squashed commits occur. Is there an easy way to amend these old commit messages to delete that sensitive information?
The 7th and 8th bullet points will be completed on the new repo ... sounds good to me.
When the new repo is created, I'll start migrating Vlab issues over to Github starting with the most active/urgent ones.
Thanks, things are looking good. Hopefully we can complete the transition this week.
