@nidhaloff After doing some research, it looks like FastAPI requires JSON format for post requests by default, if we were to do a curl post with the csv file, it fails because it would contain '\n' characters.

As a side note: using something that parses text to json such as json.loads(csv_file) works, but would plain text/bytes be better to be sent in your opinion, since the files used will most likely be csv?

I was looking at issues under the FastAPI github page and may have found a work around that would accept plain text, but I would have to modify source code and test to be sure. It looks like a setup.py file used to exist, but I can't find it now. Is there a new way to install?

Edit: We could potentially check the content-type of the uploaded text on the server side, but send everything as plain text?
