Thx for the proposal, but i do not think that the graph view will bring a value added to the actual text view.
Nevertheless, your proposal to include a output in the CSV or RRD format is very interesting. I had it to the roadmap.

Take a look at nmon. Many things is just awful with its exports but still it remains complete and almost transparent in performances impact.
