Do we need version numbers? To me, that implies that we have a somewhat stable release. We don't really, as the language is still evolving and things break all the time. Maybe it'd be a better idea to just have weekly/biweekly/monthly changelogs without version numbers?

I think it's ok to haven version numbers even in this early stage. We should just make sure to follow semver. Rust also uses version numbers if it's still not even in beta.
