We will need to have a server side search for hashtags first. We can highlight them pretty easily.

At the basis, search for hashtags is just search, right? Whenever you search for #nextcloud we should probably also at least have some sort of suggestion for also serching nextcloud without the hashtag, as the results will most likely be relevant too?

Yes, we don't have a search for terms in posts yet as well. 😉
