i also changed the caption size to normal to see how i felt, i liked it better.
thoughts on that?

i left aligned tables 2 & 3

i changed font sizes for names, affil, and references.
i think for the better, but not sure why you chose to make them small.
remember the reviewers might be old :)

what do you think about putting our logo somewhere, eg, on both sides of the page number?
from sic.
i made the title start 1" from the top of the page.

i don't love that the hyperlinks in the footnotes extend off the page. maybe replace goo.gl links?
from sic.
- color of headings: I agree, my initial thought was different colours would be nice, but I feel equally good (and therefore better, bc it's simpler) about this.
- caption size: sure! I made them smaller so I could tell the difference between them and body text (I was deciding between them and boxes), but as I went with boxes too I realize I no longer need smaller text
- left align tables: way freaking better
- author/ref/affil: I made them small purely for pagination purposes, which now with the resizing of everything else is no longer an issue, so I like :)
- logo: I think maybe either top or bottom corner? I prefer once per page than twice, so I've added a footer I think is baller. feedback solicited!
- top starting 1": coolio
- links: Agreed, I updated the offending link to a goo.gl link.

- logo: i agree, better to have pg number on left, and logo on right, but i
think they take up too much room now? i would have made the logo the same
height as the characters. we might need a simpler logo for that to be
reasonable. probably not worth it for now.

- logo: i also don't think we need both "neurodata" and "neurodata.io". let's pick one (probably the shorter one), and maybe make the logo a hyperlink?
- the page number is also too salient. can we make it smaller, not bold, and just the page number? maybe the body font, or one of the 2 other JHU fonts?
from sic.
- de-saliensitized page number by removing other words and changing font
- reduced logo size
- removed url explicitly but made logo url
next? :)
from sic.
well, while you are at it:
- i don't like the footnotes, they take up way too much space for their
utility. perhaps we can make them endnotes? also, if they are colored cyan,
shouldn't the "^1" also be colored cyan, not red? - what if we use our own url shortener? eg, neurox.io/<4 character code>?
- given shorteners, maybe we can just make the footnotes parenthetical or
remove them (except for brainx.io) - what do you think about a simpler logo with only <= 6 "strokes"?

They aren't coloured in the document. They just have boxes in overleaf's rendering of them
from sic.
- url shortener: I don't know how to set that up so that seems like we have others on the critical path?
- I am in support of whatever you decide is best re footnotes/endnotes/no-notes.

I believe I've addressed all of this :) re-open if you don't feel like I did?
