EquiFly

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

Prerequisites

  • Android Studio IDE
  • SDKMan - To handle different java versions.
  • Java 11
  • Kotlin

Behaviour Driven Development


1. An unknown scholar

  • Needs a scholar number to register.
  • He will be requested for his full name and his current phone number.
  • The number is the sent to him as an app notification.

NOTE: You can use -scholar name Charles Muvaka, type the number you need, select St Josephs Seminary Mwingi and Kericho Branch to give it a try.

  • You can use the scholar number provided to you to set up a password for your account.
  • The Home page and other related pages.

2. Assumptions

  • We assume that an unknown scholar is through with high school.
  • The application uses a view scholar grades page instead of job opportunities for high school scholars.

NOTE: You can use -scholar name Albright Sunguti, type the number you need, select Alliance Boys High School and Changamwe Branch to give it a try.

  • Begin by recovering your scholar number.

Installing

  • Fork the repo
  • Create a new branch
 $ git switch -c (improve-feature)
  • Make the required changes in the file.

  • Add changes to reflect the changes made.

  • Commit your changes.

    $ git commit -am (improve-feature)
    
  • Push to the branch

    $ git push origin (improve-feature)
    
  • Create a Pull Request

  • You can clone it it to your local machine to have it locally.

  • Clone this repository to a location in your file system.

  • Open terminal command line then navigate to the root folder of the application.

      $ git clone  https://github.com/CharlesMuvaka/EquiFly.git
      $ cd ../path/to/the/file
