I have the same issue with a few of my CentOS 7 boxes and they are not parents for other agents.

I've not seen this issue again after the nodes updated to 1.45.

@hvulin please update to v1.45 as @asb-ttic suggests. There have been a tone of bug fixes since 1.44.3.
Is this a VM or a physical system?
From the log message I understand that either Netdata corrupts glibc internal structures (so we have a severe bug somewhere), or there is some faulty memory chip on this server.
The install type custom depicts that you built Netdata yourself. Have you tried to use one of our packages? Probably there is some incompatibility with a library we use.
If by updating to 1.45 does not solve the problem, we need to investigate this further.
