Question on Truncated Code about adfsmfa HOT 3 CLOSED

This parameter represents the beginning of the key used to generate the TOTP code, which is the equivalent of the QR Code.

The TOTP code is generated from this key with a time-based algorithm and an irreversible hashing.
For security reasons, it is not transmitted in the page.

Historically some applications could not scan the QR Code or allowed to enter several keys, others use this key to synchronize between multiple devices, so it's a way to register the key manually on 2 phones for example.

With the console you can send an email to the user who contains both the QR Code and the textual representation.

No, not in UI. it's a security concern.

if you want to view the TOTP key, you have to send by email (Console/User/Properties).

But, if you want you can do it in your Custom Presentation
