The only solution I can think of is doing something like this:
c.storageUrl = strings.Replace(resp.Header.Get("X-Storage-Url"), "dfw1", "ord1", -1)
from swift.
I can't find any docs on where you get that endpoints
JSON blob from. I think that is a rackspace extension.
Do you know where it comes from?
from swift.
No, but I saw such example for Cloud Identity: http://docs.rackspace.com/servers/api/v2/cs-gettingstarted/content/curl_auth.html . When they do authentication there are several URLs for different regions in response body. But they are using API v2.0.

OK thanks for that. It looks like I'd need to support the V2 api to make this work which doesn't look too tricky at a basic level. Will experiment!

I have implemented a fix for this in the v2-auth branch - can you check it out and tell me what you think?
Thanks

TODO need to fix CDN auth for v2 in rs submodule

This should be fixed now but could do with some more testing! Please re-open if there are any problems
