its because you have to update your native script to the 3.0 rc then it will work

This might be the cause: npm WARN [email protected] requires a peer of tns-core-modules@^3.0.0 || ^3.0.0-rc.1 but none was installed.

Hi all,
The ^3.0.0 version of the nativescript-fresco plugin brings support for NativeScript 3.0. This means that due to the breaking changes of {N} 3.0, this version is not compatible with 2.x.x versions of NativeScript.
If you want to use NativeScript pre 3.0 simply use any of the previous versions of nativescript-fresco like this latest "1.0.16":
"nativescript-fresco": "1.0.16"
