Thank you for the tips - I got it to work by starting clean again and leaving out the glide section

Hi !
I've tried with the same version of go (1.9.4), and I'm also having this issue.
With an other beat too (I tried with Amazonbeat, same issue).
According to the output, it comes from "libbeat/logp/log.go".
I've :
make clean- deleted nathan-k-/mqttbeat/vendor
- deleted $GOPATH/pkg/linux_amd64/github.com (not sure about the utility of this one)
- deleted $GOPATH/src/github.com/elastic
I also used $GOPATH/src/github.com/nathan-k-/mqttbeat as basedir, instead of the dir specified in the Readme. (template from elastic)
Then the usual (glide install, make setup, make), and it worked !
