Well I am just using the provided script from the most up to date git build on the master branch. I am running off of Arch Linux and it seems the CentOS version is 7 (20190612_07:08)

Very interesting! I can verify not only that that works, but it removes some other issues that I was having. I had no problem running through the whole process for my FastMail account which is small, but the import was choking on my huge Gmail account. Now, after I go into the container with the --clear-env -n mlr option there were additional packages to install upon running bin/install and the import is running smooth (so far).

Even though at the end of the run-lxc script the container is entered into in the right way, I didn't think to go into there and copy exactly the command used to enter the container when I entered it in a different terminal window. I wonder if it might be more robust to set the default path to what it is that we expect?

Thank you for the report.

Could you tell me you OS version? So I could try to reproduce and fix this properly.

I'm also on archlinux and I usually run lxc-attach --clear-env -n mlr, but if you run run-lxc it should automatically go into container with --clear-env https://github.com/naspeh/mailur/blob/master/bin/run-lxc#L41

Here is a difference:

$ lxc-attach -n mlr
[15:17] mlr:/opt/mailur [env: env] [master]
$ echo $PATH
/opt/mailur/env/bin:./node_modules/.bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/var/lib/flatpak/exports/bin:/usr/lib/jvm/default/bin:/usr/bin/site_perl:/usr/bin/vendor_perl:/usr/bin/core_perl:/home/naspeh/bin:/home/naspeh/bin:./node_modules/.bin/:/root/bin:./node_modules/.bin/

$ lxc-attach --clear-env -n mlr
[15:18] root@mlr:/opt/mailur [env: env] [master]
  echo $PATH
/opt/mailur/env/bin:./node_modules/.bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/root/bin:./node_modules/.bin/

I remember that I tried something regarding this, but then decided to just use --clear-env. I need to revise this one again. I'll check this later, probably on the weekend.

I added check for /usr/sbin into bin/activate. I think it would be enough.
