I'm Ronald, an incoming Master's student in Data Science at UC Berkeley this fall. I recently graduated from UC Merced with a Bachelor's in Applied Math. Throughout my undergrad, I was heavily involved in machine learning research and held several leadership positions. I am currently focused on enhancing my web development skills and improving my data structures and algorithms through LeetCode.

I am currently focused on integrating machine learning models into web applications, aiming to create interactive and user-friendly platforms that leverage AI to deliver impactful user experiences. Additionally, I am exploring natural language processing to broaden my understanding of its applications. Starting in July, I will begin my internship as a Machine Learning Software Engineer at Valeo.

Personal Interests

šŸŽµ Music: I believe music fuels creativity and helps maintain a balanced lifestyle. I am an avid K-pop fan, with Aespa and Ive being my favorite groups! My favorite songs are Love Dive and Supernova.

šŸ€ Sports: I love following the NBA and NFL. My favorite teams are the Golden State Warriors and the San Francisco 49ers. My favorite players are Kevin Durant and Steph Curry.

šŸƒā€ā™‚ļø Fitness: I enjoy staying active through running and weightlifting. I typically run 3-5 miles weekly and believe in maintaining physical health to boost mental well-being.

šŸ² Food: Iā€™m a big fan of hotpot and boba. Some of my favorite spots are Boiling Point for hotpot and Sunright for boba. Exploring new places to eat is one of my favorite pastimes.
