I have the same ob my gtx770 2 GB, I assumed that only 4GB cards worked.

It MAY be because you don't have a large enough contiguous chunk of swap space. Speaking from the perspective of a programmer familiar with the mechanics of allocating heap, swap and other reserved spaces (as the source code is unpublished as far as I know)

So try this. Close all apps and reconfigure your box for ZERO swap space. If you don't have at least 60GB free then start deleting junk you don't need before
rebooting because it wlll speed up the next step

Then reboot and start defragging (the MSFT system internals site has a page file defragger that works quite well also

You want to repeat several cycles to aggregate as large a contiguous area as reasonably possible.

Then tell the is you want that 20G swap file and be sure to set it as 20g minimum, so it builds all of it at once in most efficient and highest performing mechani

Then reboot and cross your fingers. If it doesn't work try digging through windows event log and see if you get useful additional info

I found that disabling my basic GPU which was 512mb have done the trick.
