I assume this is for the Download Tab? For the download speed, this will complicate the ui update because I need to calculate the last UI update and the delta of the download if you want to show it in real time.

You could use a timer with fixed interval (like 1 or a half second, should be enough) and a variable to store the "current" speed and the amount of bytes downloaded in the last call. Real time is overkill.

I'm calculating the speed based on the bytes recieved / (current time - start time) in the DownloadProgressChanged event, this should be similar to the timer based. The difference is on the time interval, this is depend on the event update because I'm using download async.

Sorry, I somehow overread your commit which adds the feature.

Anyway, you should use "kB" or "KB" for kilobyte since the lower-case "b" means bit.
