I'm using download asyc to fetch the list. The problem is when the application is parsing the list (from JSON/XML) to object, it still in the same thread :P.
For canceling the load preview, just uncheck the Load Preview checkbox. It will stopped when the last load preview is completed.

Update to use background task to parse and load the list. The most resource intensive is actually in parsing the tags.
