Narrowing the focus of this issue to just saves, since this is actually two different issues, and the character sheet metaphor has evolved to the point where the original idea is no longer logical.
We'll display dodge, mental, physical, and poison saves on the main ability section, and allow for finer control in the setup pane. Note that doing this correctly will require providing a 'poison bonus' checkbox for races.
