Thanks for your comments and your suggestions.
I would like to implement the stdout
and stderr
streams before promoting IJavascript in the wiki (it's the first item in my TODO list for this project).
Also, I would like to support both specs (4.1 and 5.0), but I'm not clear how to do so. Is there a way for the kernel to decide what protocol to use? Is it, perhaps, passed in the {connection_file}
?
And about contributing to the frontend, could you point me to where I could start helping?

In the last release of IJavascript (v4.1.3), I've implemented a new Javascript session server and now the kernel is able to stream stdout and stderr.
This means IJavascript has enough functionality so that I don't mind to promote in the wiki (in fact, I've already done so).
Again, thanks for all your comments.
