It's an npm issue, has nothing to do with node-mysql.

Closing this as it seems to be unrelated to node-mysql. Also, you're using npm 0.1.27 which is very outdated I think.

Yes I thought it was an npm issue too, but I was just letting you know about it.
Indeed it seems it was a issue on their back end.
