Hmm, I lied, I thought I reverted and it started working, but it did not. Perhaps it is doing some conversion based on timezone? Or is this an intentional bug?

So, whenever I toggle it to use Heroku it is working, but I can't get it to work locally. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So I am going to close this down as the API is intended to have bugs in it. In my workshop I encourage participants to go out and search for the bugs through various techniques.
Basically my rule is if it doesn't kill the API then it's fine to stay.
