Commit 27bd61c Was not an actual fix for the issue. The media scanner service needs to be connected before it can start processing.
Implementing that now.

As per commit 3e9b6e1, The files are being scanned and appear in Gallery / Computer.
There is an issue with this implementation of it being "leaky" The media scan connection is not being properly opened / closed.

As per commit 41e5d6f, Changed the MessageProcessor and RequestProcessor to use an intent broadcast to send a request to scan the created file rather than the service itself.
As the class is not handling a connection to the media scanner service anymore, it is not leaking it.
