My ios6 updates are lagging a little at present - mac dev machine issues - sorry. However, I'm pretty certain that this fault is purely down to the sample viewcontroller - so not a core framework issue (phew)

There is one more serious ios6 issue I'm now aware of - which is that any code which relies on viewdidunload is doomed to fail. For mvx, this affects the conference sample which relies on viewdidunload to let the viewmodel unsubscribe from events. I'm not sure of the platform level fix for this right now. It may be that we need to hook into viewdiddisappear or into the uinavigationcontroller's delegate - or we may just need to use weak event references instead.

Actually, reading that again, maybe we need to look at changing ShowFirstView in https://github.com/slodge/MvvmCross/blob/master/Cirrious/Cirrious.MvvmCross/Touch/Views/Presenters/MvxTouchViewPresenter.cs to set rootviewcontroller

Just checking in a fix for this on the tip of vNextDialog - but this won't fix it everywhere... it's all to do with setting the RootViewController on the _window
