There is an "Open profile on Mudlet start" checkbox for each profile on the Options tab in the connection window, for if you want a profile to open every time you open the program. I don't do this because I like having Mudlet 4.17.2 running connected to the game I'm admin on, and I like having Public Test Build running connected to local game for development purposes, and I don't want for the PTB to come up and connect to main game. That doesn't sound great for your purposes if you want a different party on different days though. Might work if you want a normal base team plus 1 manually selected.

Another option, when you're starting the program, there is a command line option where you can list profiles to automatically connect with. Going this route, you could have a separate shortcut that launches Tim and his crew, another that launches Ralph and his crew.

Another idea, one that isn't implemented, would be to have a function that does it, something like openProfile(name) as discussed in #3400, #3153, and #1918. This way I could open up my Tim profile and then have it open a specific set of crew.

I do like the idea of something in the connection window for categorizing or for selecting more than one. It could be a smaller text list with checkmarks next to them. It could be just right-click on a second profile to select multiple profiles that all would open when hitting the Connect button. Maybe some other approaches would work. Folders sound good too.

Something like openprofile() would be awesome for loading up armies that you can just put in an alias/trigger/script.

The profile screen could really use some organization though, as well as a multi-open/login from that screen just for ease of use.
