And finally use the new web API to get json data including the cover art. Note that this type of lookup does not require auth, but it would not be nice to do it at track "creation" time as things currently stand in mopidy. I've also briefly experimented with using the new web api plus the Mopidy-Spotify extension as a redirect service which is fairly simple to get going.

Cover art is already easily available in pyspotify 2, so as long as we have a dedicated call for getting cover art (data: or http://), and are not fetching cover art when creating plain album objects that should work out nicely.

Mopidy 1.0 adds library.get_images(uri), ref mopidy/mopidy#973.
#46 has been opened to add support for get_images() and replaces this issue.
