Nextjs module federation doesn't work when remote module uses hooks about universe HOT 16 CLOSED

Most likely, not enough funding to keep maintaining the landscape. Especially if we decide to include SSR capabilities

I found the answer to this , it was fully open sourced some time back. This is now the latest https://github.com/module-federation/universe/blob/main/packages/nextjs-mf/README.md and it does support next 13

Same goes if you use next/link as well. It looks like it's getting react twice if you actually use a hook and same with next/link

I've just got this problem as well and found that someone has already reported before me. I got this problem when both when using hooks and next/link.

Playing around with it some more yesterday it seems that in next 11 when you also have the config.output.public path set on the one sharing a component it seems to load localhost and next1/2 whichever one you are using to share on the one receiving it and loading whatever hooks/imports in it twice

Hey, just to mention that just using regular old webpack 5 and module federation plugin I've no issues.

It might be how 'withFederatedSidecar' uses the 'shared' deps..

yes this is a problem caused by sharing react. Ive managed to solve it but likely wont remain free due to the complexity and maintenance requirements of this package

@ScriptedAlchemy Regarding the paid model , and the MIT licence, how is this working? I couldn't see any other mention of a paid model on this site, is the package linked above different to the one on npm? Thanks
