How about changing the parenthetical to

I commented on the commit, but maybe better says here. The point is indeed to create enough participants to sway the consensus. This is typically facilitated by the use of pseudonyms, which itself is motivated by desires of privacy, and by the low level of resource required to create a pseudonym. We could have qualifiers such as "pseudonymous participants" or "cheaply create". Your choice.
