Looks like this can be fixed by disabling manifest checking done by the BeaconLibrary: https://altbeacon.github.io/android-beacon-library/javadoc/org/altbeacon/beacon/BeaconManager.html#setManifestCheckingDisabled(boolean)
Maybe LineageOS has something that causes the application to not see the manifest correctly

@mjaakko, I was able to start the application again. It was the App Manager's feature to block trackers that caused the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I can open and use the F-Droid variant. I have been using the 1.2.3-full version since its release, but I just got that error today, weird.
Edit: To add, I haven't updated my LineageOS system/build since the 1.2.3-full version release.
