Hi, the buildout has to be run as user and will fail if run as root! So please login as user, create a new directory, clone https://github.com/mistio/mist.io and re-run the buildout.

Happens to me all the time, I get too excited! Truth is we need to make installation simpler and we're working on it.
Just a out of curiosity, what problem are you looking to solve with Mist.io and how did you find out about it?

i need some cloud/virtual manager for hosts running libvirt.
