Hi Daniël, thanks for your report,
Yes it is correct that you can get it to show a QR code, however the QR code is not scannable by the CoronaCheck Scanner. See also the “Controleer de tijd” message that you see in your screenshot.
i.e. it’s not valid for entry

Your suggestion for a fix:
connect to the API and ask what time it is over there instead of relying on the local time of the device.
The app strives to remain available offline, as people don’t necessarily have a working internet connection underground/at a crowded festival (or maybe they’ve run out of data on their cell plan) etc.

Isn't there a way to make it impossible to grab the QR? That would make things even clearer for the user?
