Incompatibility with Iris mod. about hdskins HOT 10 CLOSED

This appears to be a problem with Iris. They need to ensure their code works when rendering an entity model from the main menu.

No doubt there will be other mods that could cause incompatibilities in the same way.

There doesn't appear to be any public builds of Iris for 1.17. Can you please link me to where you were able to download that mod from?

Tested the fix with the changes in ee78ad6 with Iris (both with and without Sodium) and it appears to be resolved. I will be keeping this open, though, as there is an unresolved issue with Iris.

You know, I tried the fix with my own compiled build of the latest merge, and it certainly didn't CTD itself out now.

Iris and Iris-forked Sodium just updated, which I tested and immediately crashed when I load the HD Skins screen again before world view.
