Option to disable menu icon about macmediakeyforwarder HOT 6 CLOSED

There are excellent softwares that you can buy and use to hide menu icons.
For example, Vanilla by Matthew Palmer which is only USD$4.99.

I personally prefer Bartender 3 by Surtees Studios, which worked better for me with a two-or-more screen setup, but it's a little more expensive (around USD$15).

Ha! I noticed I left out a crucial word in my original post; the word DON'T! I really do not need to see the icon all the time. Please allow us to hide it!

If there wasn't an icon in the menu bar nor in the dock, how would you know that the app was running/control it?

Here's an alternative (more manual) approach I followed to avoid accumulating more menubar icons:

(And if you want to swap only your 3 media keys for function keys instead of all 12 of them, use Karabiner-Elements in place of of the standard Keyboard preferences in the linked article's step 2.)

Sorry but I don't want to make the menu inaccessibleso I won't add an icon hiding functionality. But as @alejandroivan wrote there are other tools you can use for that, Vanilla for example which has a free version.
