You can, but have you considered using Flask-Login instead? It seems more appropriate for your needs, since you can check current_user
to see if the user is authenticated or not.

Can you tell me how to define different error_handler for different routes?
Should I deal with different situation in the same error_handler function, or can i define multiple error_handler functions and associate them with different route functions?
