I recommend that you do ctrl+= or 0 once as old app version had a related bug which caused system buttons to not scale with app.

And regarding the main issue, I tried it on both setup and portable version and couldn't find any issue, please try restarting app after ctrl+= or 0 or send me the test folder.

• I did not see the reading mode is set at vertical. It is working as intended.

• The image counting is working as intended, but the total images is stopped at 1.
• In full screen the page indicator is working normally.

• I have done that, but still it is not showing total page number properly.
• While scaling it up and down I saw the total page number briefly.

This application does not have a digital certificate because it costs a lot and I make zero money off this app, So your anti virus might be detecting it as malware.
You can try saving settings and deleting app and reinstalling, but i think window zoom is hiding your pagenumber as i can see system button and topbar are not lined in you screenshot

• I am afraid that is not the case at all. It never flagged the application as malware until now.
• I think I know the reason. You can also reproduce this malware behavior.

Also do note that since this app is not signed, I have to use my custom update system because i couldn't get any other to work, which work by deleting old files and extracting new app.zip in same folder.

It never flagged the application as malware until now.

If you had ever used setup version of this app you would know, theres always a popup saying this app can be harmful when auto-updating.

Steps to reproduce the malware behavior.

1. Open the application.
2. Hold "Ctrl + R" (Refresh shortcut) for 4 - 6 seconds, then this appears.
3. Temporary fix will also not work. The themes.json file will become 0KB.
4. Even after restarting the application, this will keep popping up.
5. After 5 - 10 minutes the antivirus will flag it as a trojan.

• I accidentally did this in v2.9.1 and the above popped up.
• I checked to see if the same behavior is repeated in v2.8.1 and it did repeat.
• Some time after doing this, the antivirus marked them both as malware and deleted both versions.

That is because every time app start it check theme file for changes and saves, when refreshed repeatedly saving process is interrupted and cause this error.
