This type of issue is typically related to environment differences between VS Code's terminal and the external terminal. You can try diffing the two environments by printing them (eg. env, Get-ChildItem env:) and investigating any differences.

@meganrogge Ok, I found how to configure the integrated terminal in the settings.json

 "terminal.integrated.env.windows": {
    "NODE_OPTIONS": "--max-old-space-size=8192"
  },

Now my command run successfully in the integrated terminal.
But this command is run as precommit task and fails due to memory allocation.
How i can set the environment variable "NODE_OPTIONS" in this context?
