Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.89.1. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.

Happy Coding!

Hi @yogesh-aggarwal thank you for checking. Since the issue appears in 1.89.1 only then I will close this issue. Feel free to comment here if you see it happen again.

I don't know if this issue was there in previous versions or not. So I am not sure if this is worth ignoring for the next release.

Please let me know your views.

Hey @aiday-mar, I want to fix this issue by myself. Where can I get started? I have already read the CONTRIBUTION.md but I am facing problems in understanding the codebase. Is there any sort of guide where I can get started?

Do let me know!
Thanks!

Hi @yogesh-aggarwal yes so the contribution.md is the main file for how to run and compile the code.

There is this wiki which contains more information about the codebase here: https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/wiki/

Unfortunately afaik there is no guide which explains the code as such. To understand the code, you will have to read the code.
